Remixer Arnold Hugo Stolting did a REGGAE Remix
for the new song "Easy" by the world famous pop Rock Band "Barenaked Ladies"
and entered it into a contest. The winners will be released on a CD with all
proceeds going to charity so it's for a good cause! Our Mix is up against a
few Rock versions etc, so if you want to help me make some Reggae Noise, we

Another recent 2006
Virtual Server Setup remix contest received

participants
from all around the globe. From that list the jury ended up picking 8
remixes that would make it onto the bonus CD for the Virtual Server Setup
Release. The jury consisted of DJ RAM,
a well known
Russian based producer and remixer and has been recognized as one of best
remixers in Russia known for his remixes and collaborations with notable
bands such as
T.A.T.U.,
Ayria,
Colony 5,
De/Vision,
Delerium,
Beborn Beton,
Klockwork,
Red Flag,
Boytronic,
Sara Noxx, and
Clan of Xymox. And further the jury included
Virtual
Server Setup
original lineup of musicians,
A Different Drum Record Label
reps and also DJs who tested the remixes under Dance Club Floor conditions.
It was quite difficult to pick the most interesting and original works among
them all which would perfectly fit into the Setup album concept. The
jury was really busy making up an objective choice possible and sharing the
opinions between each other. But when the smoke cleared, Remixmydemo.com
Producer and remixer Arnold Hugo Stolting ended up winning a spot on the CD
for his original Reggae Remix of one of the tracks.
